Band Series - Video Games Live, Part I
This is me conducting "Video Games Live - Part I" as performed by the Andrew High School Wind Symphony. The three movements are "Halo Suite" (from Halo), "Civilization IV" (featuring "Coronation" and "Baba Yetu" from Civilization IV), and "Kingdom Hearts" ("Hikari"/"Simple and Clean" from the game's intro video).
This is the third song I conducted at this concert, the Finale Concert at the high school where I student taught. The guest guitarist is actually the school's band director, whose appearance during this performance was kept as a complete surprise. The lighting was done by the school's auditorium director, and the choral parts were supplied by the school's choir director, who had performed Baba Yetu the previous year.
