Writers Beyond Borders - Vidya Murlidhar
Vidya Murlidhar is an essayist and the author of two picture books Rinni and Bo and The Adventures of Grandpa and Ray. Her essays have been widely published in magazines and websites like Mothers Always Write, Chicken Soup for the Soul, Grown and Flown, and more. Vidya teaches creative writing to children ages 8-18 and believes writing is a great tool for children to find their voice and gain perspective about the world around them Vidya is also a certified conscious parenting coach and conducts workshops on conscious parenting. She grew up in Mumbai, India, now residing in North Carolina. When she’s not writing, teaching, or coaching, she enjoys dancing and experimenting with healthy foods in her kitchen.
