Are Ivy League schools actually Elite or are they just perceived as Prestigious?
It seems that Ivy League schools are not actually elite, but are just perceived as being prestigious because of marketing and branding. From a branding point of view, Ivy League schools have positioned themselves as elite universities, however scandals that involve corruption, plagiarism, student admission have come to light, and the low dropout rate have me questioning if Ivy League schools are actually elite universities.
