Heat Coloring Titanium Bicycle Bolts, bottle cages and stem spacers.
Heat coloring titanium bicycle bolts, an excerpt from my upcoming video of the Lynskey Discovery Backroads build. Here I show a demonstration on some bottle cage bolts. Also examples of steerer tube spacers and silca titanium cages. Personally I like this look for my application as it is more organic than anodizing, but each have their own places. I do not know what this does to the tempering of the metal so I would be cautious and DYOD on this if it is a structural bolt.
