In this part of the series we will cover how to add car selection in the UI with the ability to spawn (instantiate) the cars in levels. We will go through how to use scriptable objects to store the data for the cars and how to load them in an easy way from the resource folder. Scriptable object can feel a bit daunting at first but once you figure out the basics they are really useful. We'll also cover how to use image masks to hide the car sprites to make them appear that they are inside a frame.
