The pair talk to Mr. Eldoon about how his stand got stolen, and learns a few things from him...along with his neighbor, a doctor who runs a clinic with a bit of a shady reputation. Since the thief went into the garage, they decide to look around as well. They find a missing cell phone...and Trucy's prop, stuffed into the car's tailpipe! Not only that, but the mirror they found in the garbage near the park matches the car! Guess they found the place of the hit-and-run criminal....two cases solved in one afternoon, but there's still the missing noodle stand...
After reporting back to Wright, he mentions a few things about the clinic and a few details about the incident in the park. After heading back to the agency, a girl, the same one they passed by earlier, was waiting for them. And Apollo now has his first solo defense case: Wocky Kitaki, suspected of murder at People's Park...the same one the incident took place!
They had a bit of trouble getting into the crime scene...but a mysterious handsome stranger managed to open the way for them. Once inside...they find the missing noodle stand, right in the middle of the crime scene! The detective in charge, Ema Skye, seems to be in a bad mood at the moment. After talking to Wright about this, he suddenly remembers something...he and that detective met long ago, when he was still an attorney. He tells them to find something to give to her under Trucy's spare hat...and he reveals the man they met earlier is Klavier Gavin, Kristoph's younger brother and rock god (apparently).
After showing the powder to Ema...her mood suddenly does a 180. After explaining, she agrees to help Apollo and Trucy with the case. After explaining plenty of things, including her history with Wright, she gets right down to the nitty gritty of her passion: forensic science. The white powder they found is used to match fingerprints...and there was a knife with the defendant's own prints on them (already a bad start).
Upon visiting the detention center, already they hear father and son arguing over the whole mess. It seems there is a bit of a generation gap within the Kitaki Family...
