The museum of manuscripts in Paris, France has two locations. This annex is in the Saint-Germain quartier and near the RUE DU BAC métro.
This show features the Marquis de Sade and displays the rare manuscript roll of his 120 DAYS OF SODOM. Thought to be lost, it turned up in the 20th c. and has been fought over and subject to litigations.
The culture and times, the customs and libertines and decadents throughout history, including philosphy, poetry, art and letters are shown here from many famous people, going back through history.
It was ten euros for two adults to see this, and they did not accept bank cards, only cash.
I could have stayed in here a lot longer. I have a clip of the manuscript roll of Sade on my other YT channel, CUTECATFAITH, and may put yet another on Dailymotion.
