New Adventures in Skyrim - Glamek Ep5. Looking down on Whiterun.
Good day Adventurers, today is going to be a fun Adventure as Glamek mentally mulls over cities, revealing an intimate piece of what makes up the core of the ranger.
In concluding, he decides to opt out of visiting the more heavily populate Whiterun and posits that it’s a better idea to head to Riverwood, a smaller town just south west of the larger Hold. Less people, less problems.
Walking through the plains he spots a rhinoceros, or rhino, (5:25) musing over the fact that while his home island is named after them, he’d never seen one, as they are not native to the island. Then he spots himself a spotted horse and checks it out.
Then while skirting the city of Whiterun (6:40), he chances upon some bandits, mistaking them for merchants—all the more reason to avoid the city in Glamek’s mind. Just outside of the OTHER side of the Hold, Glamek meets a group calling themselves the Companions (15:45), and their offer sounds tempting up until he realizes the group is based out of the city, and he’s not going there yet.
He continues up the hills until CTD/Black screen from 19:23 – 19:30, sorry! Again I do not edit my videos at all.
Up the hill, (21:45) he finally arrives at Riverwood, and no sooner had he walked through the gate than he was asked by a noble Orc to join the fight against Vampires, something he’ll definitely consider. He enters the tavern and hears about the village’s local store having been robbed, and then he hears another handful of rumors and potential jobs.
He then heads over to the trader who offers to pay the half elf to go into Bleakfalls Barrow and retrieve the item: golden claw? Camilla, the sister of the owner of the shop, offers to show him the way (28:00) and the two take a nice slow walk in spite of the rain. Then, he helps Alvor around the forge to pass some time, enjoying the gruffness of the company. Upon completion, he decides to head back to camp for the night.

Hi all, I hope you enjoyed this episode. To be blunt, it’s my favorite to date in spite of there not being any major revelations. I enjoy the insight you get into characters in certain moments, and this was one of those to me.
