This isn't really a tutorial showing how to do it, more of a document showing how I took a bass guitar, an Emporio Armani shawl, and put the two together to make a fashionable Italian designer bass. The ending features a brief cameo of the second Burberry plaid bass I made using similar methods. I'm getting better and the next one should be neater and shinier.

I've seen others finished in a similar way with paisley, flower, dragon, fish etc. patterns, but fashion desginer patterns are a much more effective attention getting device and take your image to another level.

Basically the process goes:
scuff the finish
spray primer (though I skipped this and the next two steps here)
let primer dry
scuff primer
spread glue
glue fabric down
straighten fabric
squeege out any bubbles
let glue dry
brush with grain filler
let filler dry
trim edges and cut holes
spray lacquer
polish

Gear nerd notes: the bass was originally a Vintage EST96 active model in natural finish. The audio at the end has both the bass and amp EQ flat and is recorded with the camera mic.
