How to synthesize expressive and fluid media scoring style vocals in Plogue Alter/Ego - vowel legato, lyrics with legato, and staccato. Sort of an ethereal elven voice, also useful for ambient music. UAny Alter/Ego voice (even Marie Ork, now that she has a clean voice) will work much the same way. So, all this applies to Bones, ALYS, and even Chipspeech vocals.
All the vocals are synthesized live from improvised notes and MIDI CC messages. This might be even better with a breath controller - we haven't tried - but is also entirely possible with notes programmed in piano roll and automation clips.
Also a decent quick introduction to Alter/Ego's capabilities for users of Kontakt-based virtual singers. From a witch chanting for tiramisu to an elf singing about a kegnaught (apparently, a dreadnaught made out of beer kegs).
