Aragog was real?!
Aragog (English: Aragog, 1942 or 1943 - April 20, 1997) was a venomous acromantula spider that Rubeus Hagrid secretly raised when he was a third year student at Hogwarts. After some events, was released as a boy to the Forbidden Forest, where he founded a colony of acromantulas. He was the size of a small elephant. Died of old age and disease.
In 1943, Voldemort, formerly known as Tom Marvolo Riddle, unleashed the terror of Slytherin, a huge Basilisk serpent hidden in the Chamber of Secrets, to destroy all the "mudbloods" at Hogwarts. Riddle learned of Hagrid's hobby, and when the Basilisk's gaze killed Weeping Myrtle at school, he blamed it on Rubeus and his pet.
Aragog then managed to escape. He settled in the Forbidden Forest, and Hagrid was expelled from Hogwarts, his wand was broken, and for 50 years the forest ranger was suspected of the murder. Although Rubeus was expelled, thanks to the efforts of Albus Dumbledore, Hagrid remained at Hogwarts as a forest ranger. This allowed him contact with Aragog and allowed him to visit his spider often, bringing him food. One day Hagrid brought in Mosag, a female of the same species as Aragog, and she became the giant spider's wife. Their offspring multiplied so much that the part of the Forest where the acromantula colony lived became very dangerous. Only Hagrid could go there without danger - Aragog, by his authority as patriarch, had forbidden his children and grandchildren to touch the forest ranger.
