In this short video, I filmed myself repairing a Carthaginian terracotta mask that had shattered into pieces! I bought it in Tunisia and I'm very attached to it, so I decided to fix it.
This required four steps:
1 - Glue: I glued all the pieces together with Pattex "No Nails, No Screws" adhesive. I wiped off the excess with paper towels. At the end, I added some superglue, thinking it would hold even better...
2 - Filler: I filled all the cracks with filler to make them less visible.
3 - Sanding: I lightly sanded.
4 - Painting: I painted the mask to hide the filler and give it a fresh new look!
Do you do any repairs at home too?
