Digitalization is a topic many are interested in but are unsure of the value it brings to their production process. By utilizing digitalization solutions, companies can gain better quality, higher flexibility and more productive processes.
The digitalization process is unique for each operation, depending on the operating set-up and equipment. Partnering with a company that specializes in digitalization is important as they can build from a certain standard while taking into account the different specifications each operation has.
In the digitalization process, there are two layers – the automation and digitization layer. Digitalization uses the data from the physical manufacturing process and contextualizes this data which improves the productivity of automation and drives it beyond its limits.
