The film is based on Hasford's 1979 novel The Short-Timers and stars Matthew Modine as Private Joker, R. Lee Ermey as Gunnery Sergeant Hartman, Vincent D’Onofrio as Private Pyle and Adam Baldwin as Animal Mother.
EYES WIDE SHUT is a 1999 film directed, produced and co-written by Stanley Kubrick. The film stars Tom Cruise as Bill Harford, Nicole Kidman as Alice Harford and Sydney Pollack as Victor Ziegler.
MAD MEN: SMOKE GETS IN YOUR EYES is the pilot episode of the 2007 AMC television series conceived and directed by Matthew Weiner and directed by Alan Taylor and stars Jon Hamm as Don Draper, John Slattery as Roger Sterling, January Jones as Betty Draper, Elisabeth Moss as Peggy Olson, Christina Hendricks as Joan Holloway, and Vincent Kartheiser as Pete Campbell.
