Singer audition flashback! This girl was good! (James Brown Cold Sweat)
I recorded every jam, every singer audition, every live gig of all my bands since 2005. Video records I started around 2009. This is an audio only session I found on my hard drive going back to June 23/2009. I had no hair at that time, and got a hairpiece soon after. This was a singer named Tina, (white) who was good with blues/funk. Tina is not the singer in the photo, who I didn't work with after this audition, but finally did 3 years later, but it's the same band. Don't know why we didn't go beyond two auditions. Went through a lot of singers from 2008 to 2018. The drummer was with me for at least 12 of them over 4 years. We didn't really gig a lot, we just auditioned and had fun jamming at rehearsal studios. My first club gig in Vancouver was around late 2008 with this drummer and a different bassist. I will post more of these audition sessions as I find the good ones.
