BREAKTHROUGH... WHAT DOES IT MEAN?

The word breakthrough (meaning in Hebrew: Lord of breaking through) is written 2 times in the Old Testament for the exact same story of David when the Lord gave him breakthrough to defeat his enemies - this is the place where David gained victory over the Philistines; 2 Samuel 5:20 and 1 Chronicles 14:11
« So David went to Baal Perazim, and David defeated them there; and he said, “The LORD has broken through my enemies before me, like a breakthrough of water.” Therefore he called the name of that place Baal Perazim. » that is, the place of breakings forth.

1 - The meaning of the place Baal-perazim is: Lord of breaches; place of dispersions; place of sunderings; lord of destructions.

2- The meaning of Breakthrough is: the bursting forth of, a breach, gap, an outburst.

When we are yielded to the boldness and victory of God in the Name above all names, Jesus Christ our King, He goes before us with supernatural triumph over our spiritual oppressors. Don’t face the frontline in your own strength or pride! We gain the intervention of the Lord of hosts in the midst of a Spiritual Attack by representing His Spiritual Authority, His Spiritual Blessing, His ultimate Spiritual Breakthrough.

The understanding that Baal (trust in the outer things of sense) is at the head of all divisions, separations, and disruptions in consciousness (lord of breaches, place of dispersions, lord of destructions). When love (David) unified with I AM (Jehovah) comes to this place of comprehension, the Philistines (lawless, rebellious thoughts and beliefs of the sense consciousness in man) are defeated

Two other great references in the Old Testament representing breakthrough, are Micah 2:13 « He who opens the breach goes up before them; they break through and pass the gate, going out by it. Their king passes on before them, the Lord at their head. »
And
2 Kings 7:6 « For the Lord had made the army of the Syrians hear the sound of chariots and of horses, the sound of a great army, so that they said to one another, “Behold, the king of Israel has hired against us the kings of the Hittites and the kings of Egypt to come against us. »

In Christ we are victorious conquerors in every spiritual battle of life, as what we see in the examples of these New Testament scripture references:
2 Corinthians 10:4 « For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. »
Ephesians 6:12 « For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. »
Hebrews 4:12 « For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. »
