Making a Difference with Carl Gough
Carl Gough is the founder and CEO of meetmagic. After 20 years of working in sales and the technology sector, he was inspired after fundraising with his daughter to start meetmagic. Carl noticed that businesses were spending large amounts of money from their marketing budget on conferences that were not very successful in starting conversations and creating meaningful change. The vision behind meetmagic is to connect c-suite executives with technology companies through business meetings. Money made from the meetings are donated to charities such as the Starlight Children's Foundation. He sat down with Dai Le to discuss his charity, meetmagic, what fuels his efforts, and challenges along the way.
