/ vinyltovideo Scotch-Irish tenor Sydney MacEwan (1908-1991) sings Marshall's "I Hear You Calling Me," made famous by John McCormack. MacEwan gained fame recording and touring and later decided to become a priest. He had special permission to continue to record and tour and released at least one album for Columbia Masterworks after his ordination in 1944. I'm not sure when this was recorded.
