T cell is a type of lymphocyte that plays a central role in immunity. When it's activated by antigen presentation from DC etc., it divides, proliferates and causing an immune response.
There are several types of T cells, and in recent years, the regulatory T cells (Tregs) which downregulate the immune responses are spotlighted.
