Dendritic cells (DC) are a kind of leukocytes and they are the most potent antigen-presenting cells.
T cells become activated by contact with DC, which triggers an immune response.
At this time, PD-1 receptor is expressed in T cells, PD-L1 and PD-L2 are expressed in DC.
