This is a lesser-known composition by Brazilian guitarist Baden Powell (also credited to composer Luis Bittencourt), from his early years, when he would combine elements of Samba and Bossa Nova with Jazz and Swing. He later shifted to a more personal, Afro-oriented sound (e.g. "Berimbau", "Consolaçao", "Canto de Ossanha" and so many more). "Dum...dum...dum...dum" is included in Baden Powell's second solo album "Um violao na madrugada" released in 1961.
