2880mm of Super Moon
I shot this with a Canon T3i and a Sigma 150-600mm Lens.
The T3i was a used body that I picked up and loaded magic lantern on. I punched in to 3x digital zoom (The T3i, 70D, and T6s support 3x sensor crop in video mode).
In this particular clip, I wasn't zoomed all the way in, but if I where to zoom all the way in, I would have 600mmX1.6 (Canon APS-C Crop)X3 (Digital Zoom) = 2880mm with a maximum aperture of f/6.3, which for the moon is actually too open. At ISO 100 and 1/60th shutter I had to stop down to f/8 just to get the exposure where I wasn't completely blowing out the highlights.
