Melodia cantabile (+ sheet music) | Amilcare Bosi (1873-1963) | By Rien
I found this lovely piece in my “secret” Italian vault! Well, lovely might be an understatement, this piece is exceptional beautiful. The curious thing is, that I also found a version online at IMSLP. But… the one is written in a different key, has another speed indication, a lot of different notes, less pedal notes. Mine is in E flat major the other one is written in F major, with different modulations. Crazy! Nevertheless I made both version available for you in PDF here: You can choose which one you like most. You can find it here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folder...
For the best listening experience, I recommend using headphones, earbuds, or a hi-fi set. The sound dynamics of the pipe organ are truly remarkable and can be fully appreciated with high-quality audio equipment.
P.s…. Did you know I now have my own sheet music store? You can find it here! Check it out, my latest piece, Fancy Fanfare is free in September 2024! You can download it here: https://buymeacoffee.com/rienschalkwi...
Played with the 2010 Mascioni organ from the church of San Giovanni Evangelista in Alessandria, Italy (Hauptwerk)
