Christopher Nolan's third in his Batman franchise is The Dark Knight Rises and takes place eight years on from the events of The Dark Knight. Gotham is at peace with the memory of Harvey Dent keeping Gotham safe but Bane a mercenary has come to full fill Ra's Al Ghul's plan of destruction to the city of Gotham. Batman returns from his abyss to save Gotham one more time.
