God or Satan? Christians can't tell the difference!
Many Christians believe that there is an evil and powerful being, Satan, the devil, who intervenes in the world, causing chaos and suffering. But, they also believe that there is a powerful good being called God who intervenes in the world... sometimes causing good things to happen, but also sometimes causing chaos and suffering... supposedly for some greater good. The problem is, if both of these beings can cause chaos and suffering, then how can you tell which one is intervening to cause any particular instance of suffering?
