Patrannache is a new rare Crane Pet in Mists of Pandaria for hunters to tame. It is the only crane with it's unique pink skin. The way to find this pet is the same for every new "rare" pet in MoP, and it's by following tracks. The pets are completely invisible, and leave behind small tracks on the ground on the path that they walk on. The tracks left by Patrannache are almost invisible and are reasonably named "Barely Visible Tracks". For some reason, even on live, the tracks are left backwards, so the bird will be facing the opposite direction of the way the feet are pointing.
Starts off at the mount in the top right of the Valley of the Four Winds, crosses over the river at the long island with the turtles, then wends his way around the rest of the zone finally finishing off just before the road junction north of the Imperial Granary.

THINGS TO CONSIDER WHEN ON HUNT FOR THIS RARE PET:
1) The tracks are extremely tiny and are faced in the OPPOSITE direction of where Patrannache is heading.
2) Make sure to turn the "Ground Clutter" option to "Low" in your graphics options when you go out searching for tracks. The tracks are so hard to spot that the grass can often get in the way.
3) It's advisable to use Camouflage to avoid aggroing mobs while tracking, and using Flare won't break your stealth.
4) Once you see him you can either put a Hunter's Mark on him to keep him visible or tame him immediately.
5) If you have a rare npc mod, make sure you keep your cache cleared, once he walks through the flare and becomes visible it will go off.
6) If you are looking for his tracks and you would like help, make sure its a fellow hunter helping you look for tracks. No other classes can see them.
7) Lastly the tracks do disappear after a few minutes(5 minutes approx) after he puts them down, so if you find one, he is close by.
8) WHILE IN A GROUP: The other hunter shot him with a freezing trap while I ran back close enough to tame him. After the trap broke, he had aggro and I was unable to tame. I would click tame and after a few seconds, it would stop casting. The hunter feign-ed death, then I tamed without a problem. So, if you're attempting to tame him in a party be sure you have aggro on him first.
9) must be at least 86 to tame, even though he appears as an enemy he only aggroes during the tame
10) He spawns between 2 to 8 hours and because only hunters can make him visible via a flare (thanks Blizz) he should be up quite frequently.
11) she does not leave tracks for her entire route.
