Case study: ransomware encrypted JPEG, .XLS extension - examining if JPEG can be repaired.
I am not a ransomware or decryption expert so please don't flood me with questions on that topic. I do know a few things about JPEG though and so I'll examine if the entire file is encrypted and if not, if we can carve out the non encrypted JPEG data.
So this is a study and not necessarily the most efficient way to repair the JPEG photo!
