Italian HOUSE: Rooms, Furniture & Activities
Hi everyone! Today’s lesson is about the house. You’ll see how to call the different rooms in your home and their main furniture. For each place, I’ll also show you a couple of activities that you can do - keep watching to learn some new Italian words!

Let’s begin by saying that “casa” is the generic term to refer to your home. Then you can live either in a flat, “appartamento”, or in a detached house “villa”
These are the main rooms you can find in a house along with their main furniture.
INGRESSO = HALL
Appendiabiti = Coat hanger
Scarpiera = Shoe rack
CUCINA = KITCHEN
Frigorifero/Frigo = fridge
Fornelli = cooker
Credenza = cupboard
SALA DA PRANZO = DINING ROOM
Tavolo = table
Sedie = chairs
SOGGIORNO = LIVING ROOM
Divano = sofa
Televisione/TV = TV
Tavolino = little table
STUDIO = OFFICE
Scrivania = desk
Computer = laptop
Libreria = bookcase
CAMERA DA LETTO = BEDROOM
Letto = bed
Comodino = bedside table
Armadio = Wardrobe
BAGNO = BATHROOM
Lavandino = washbasin
Water = toilet
Doccia = shower
Vasca = bath

Lavatrice = washing machine
Asciugatrice = dryer
GIARDINO = GARDEN
BALCONE = BALCONY
GARAGE = GARAGE
