I made THE ERROR almost EVERY DESIGNER WILL DO at least ONCE - Design It
In my spare time i love to design objects that solve daily problems. Today’s problem is related to Light and Lightning, in other words, i needed a second, small and portable light for video pourposes.
BUT THIS TIME I DID THE MOST COMMON ERROR FOR DESIGNERS, UNDERESTIMATE TIMING! Yes, i spent a lot of time trying to 3D print this object, that to my eyes was super simple!
Instead of doing the sketches, which for this project where almost optional, i moved directly to the 3D modeling and 3D Printing, adding a bit o DIY and programming.
I admit it is NOT the best looking project, but i think is better DONE THAN PERFECT!!Don't get me wrong, as designer i AlWAYS strive for the best quality and aspect, but in this case, i have to finish in 2 days. Instead of being discouraged that is not perfect, and give up, i think is better to have something in your hand that reflects the maximum you can archieve with time/quality proportion.
All filmed with my Nexsus 5X, no fancy cameras here! (don't get me wrong i would love one)
