Hey everyone! I hope you're all doing well! This youtube journey has been an interesting one for me. I'm finally getting to the point where I'm posting once a week and doing it consistently and I'm proud of that but I'm noticing that there are times where I have a lot to say and there are times where I don't have much to say, only things to show or share. This is one of those episodes. In today's episode I share with you some photos that I made for the mere sake of practicing. I had some extra time on my hands (I had a client cancel) and so I decided to take the Fuji XF10 with me to Huntington Beach and practice a bit. I didn't feel super motivated on this particular day but I was determined to practice a bit. I think practicing is an important part of growing... and yes, the photos aren't necessarily inspiring (though there are one or two that I did like from this episode) but going out on practice sessions really helps me learn. i think that in total, I was there for about an hour or maybe a few minutes more.
It was great shooting with the XF10 after not having shot with it in over two months! I did instantly feel the difference in user experience. i had gotten used to shooting with the x100 series and so holding a point n shoot somehow didn't feel like I was gonna make any serious photos cause it's so small and it's a true point n shoot camera but the cool thing about this camera is that I know that it is just as capable as my cameras that have a viewfinder on them. And after about five minutes of shooting, I fell right back into the groove of using it.
I wish you all an amazing morning, afternoon, or evening and I hope to see you in next week's episode. Thank you for the continued support!
