This will be a 4-part series in which I'll share in real-time what was done to my laptop and for what reasons. This is an engineering laptop originally when I bought it back about a couple of years. Spec'd out the way it was it was worth at it's creation about $5,000 and rightfully so.I decided to convert it to my primary dj laptop because of the processor in it an INTEL i7 CORE 10TH GEN plus the 64GB RAM and it's powerful video card which compared to my entry level first laptop an HP PAVILION gaming laptop with a RYZEN 5 AMD processor and only 8GB of RAM and a decent video card just didn't compare. The only drawback to my 5750 is that the boot drive's memory was only 250GB which using all of my dj programs especially SERATO DJ PRO and SOUNDSWITCH was using TONS OF MEMORY AND SPACE and between the both would bring my space to 0 bytes which was borderline dangerous in that it could freeze and/or lockup my laptop. So about a year ago or so I chose to upgrade the memory and my original program drive to a SAMSUNG 990 PRO 1TB and also adding a secondary 1/2 TB ssd as well....... way more storage than original. I have the settings on them to its default so haven't tweaked them out and will probably do so just to see if the write and read speeds will preform like they say they do.....FYI in making these moves you might void the warranty on it so it'll be entirely at your own risk. On this video I was in the process of migrating over my original drive, which I should've saved EVERYTHING on one of my eternal drives for a quicker backup process...... but since this was my first time doing this......I didn't really know what to expect in doing so., by using the Insignia™™ - M.2 NVMe to USB- C SSD Enclosure which did get very hot on me during this video. I'm thinking you can only do one process at a time with this but it did do the job. I was able to get alot of my important files over to my new drive the 990 PRO PCIe 4.0 NVMe™ M.2 SSD and it did perform great beyond my expectations with just the default settings which I found out after-the-fact in the SAMSUNG MAGICIAN TOOL that you can download with it(note that if you want to do a complete migration from another drive to this type of drive I believe it'll only work with Samsung drives only in this respect.... not to say that it doesn't work with other drives in migrating your info to it because it will..... just not a 100% complete transfer). You also have to note that it'll be a fresh new install and that you have to re-configure your laptop/pc to the way you used it before or configure it how you want to since it'll be like a new one. I optimized mines as before and had to make some adjustments to my WINDOWS DEFENDER and also give access to the ADMINISTRATION AND USER settings on mines as well. I'll continue with the rest of my descriptions with the other videos......

In the D/FW METROPLEX AREA I used this person to do the installation for my new drive and he did a great job in doing so. https://www.instagram.com/dfw.protech...
This is my new drive which I had installed that compares to the one in the SONY PS5
SAMSUNG 990 PRO

PCIe 4.0 NVMe™ M.2 SSD

The device I used for transferring and copying my files since my original program drive was not wiped clean or reformatted was this Insignia™™ - M.2 NVMe to USB- C SSD Enclosure

just be aware that it did get really hot on me but that was due to te fact that I was running multiple processes at once and it was somewhat normal when I transferred over my info one process at a time...... on some of my larger files this may or may not work but I'll do a follow up on it soon to see the outcome(this may take at least 1-2 days and may or may not work)
