Tappan Zee Bridge Lawsuit (2024)
In this video, I go over what is currently known about the lawsuit filed by the State of New York Throughway Authority against the design-build contractor. Reports indicate that the Throughway Authority is alleging that due to material not conforming to project requirements, that 61 of the total 192 suspension cable anchor pipes must be retrofitted with a new sleeve to ensure that the bridge performs well over its planned design life of 100 years.
