This part of my road trip starts in Albuquerque's Old Town (0:13) and its hip neighborhood Nob Hill (0:53). Then we get into our car and follow historic Route 66 (1:37) to Gallup (2:36).
On the Interstate Highway, we are followed by trucks (2:00) that seem to have sprung from Spielbergs debut film "Duel"...
So, let's escape to Sedona (3:20), find a vortex (4:08) and relax in this amazing red rock landscape.
Next, we visit Montezuma Castle (4:20) - an 800 years old pueblo settlement built directly into a towering limestone cliff.
We end up in Jerome (4:44), a former ghost town in the Black Hills of Yavapai County that has turned into a National Historic Landmark which attracts tourists, bikers and vintage cars (5:02).
