Meet Calum and Jack, students at LOETB Tullamore Further Education and Training Centre, as they talk about their experience studying Level 5 Computer Software and Networks.
Jack returned to education after taking a few years out after school. He chose to study something he was genuinely interested in and says he’d highly recommend Tullamore FETC, especially praising the extra student supports available for subjects like maths. Jack is interested in progressing to university or an apprenticeship, but he feels an Apprenticeship is the next step that suits him best.
Calum deferred his university place for a year and took the course while working part-time. He saw the PLC as a stepping stone, helping him build skills and confidence before heading to university. He found the guidance and support at Tullamore FETC to be a real advantage.
