Testrunning - Technics SL-1900 on Quad 33 and 405 - Canton Quinto 540 - Ben Howard
Testrun
-Technics SL-1900;
fixed damping armlift somewhat
-Quad 33 and 405;
refurbished volume controller
replaced some caps on 405
refurbished cables
placement pre-amp and amper to sort out humming
over-all not really convinced yet; sounds a bit flat and raw. Considering new (component-) cards.
-Canton Quinto 540
first run of these very nice speakers. big bassdriver does its job. Detailled on high. Over-all nice speakers to listen to with great look.
