Originally from Palestine, Hanan is a proud mother of five, a former refugee, and an accomplished life coach, personal chef, social justice activist, but most importantly, a GREAT STORYTELLER! She has been featured on TEDx for her work through My Healing Table.
On Saturday, June 6, Hanan will be making Knafeh Nabulsieh*, a traditional Middle Eastern dessert, and sharing her experience as a refugee, woman, mother, and activist who uses storytelling and cooking on her own work.
Join us this Saturday at 1 pm for the live premiere of her cooking and storytelling on YouTube or Facebook! Following the workshop, we will host a live conversation with Hanan via Zoom from 2 pm ET to ask questions.
RSVP today to have your voice heard and questions answered at heartytables.eventbrite.com
*Note: the Knafeh dough should stay in the FREEZER and stored in the refrigerator 30 minutes before using it.
