ANZAC Grand Hotel, Canakkale
Hi travellers,
The ANZAC Grand is the hotel I stayed when I went to visit Gallipoli. Canakkale is on the other side of the water and it is easy to catch a ferry across to go and visit. Canakkale town is where the horse from the movie Troy is along the waterfront (about a 5 minute walk from this hotel). I paid for 2 nights to stay in this hotel.

Breakfast is included. It is right in the old town and the area is very walkable. The front desk can help you to book a tour to see Troy and/or Gallipoli, this is the one I used:
The walls are pretty thin, so bring ear plugs, I did use my noise cancelling headphones. It is pretty basic. Mostly you will be out and about and it is just a place to sleep, the location in the old town is great and it is near the ferry.
