If you work on your feet all day, or if you're kneeling, climbing ladders, or in awkward positions...this is your rest position.
End of shift or when you get home, put your legs up the wall for 10 minutes.
This helps any inflammation travel out of your lower legs with the help of gravity. It is also a great RESET position for your spine because it is fully supported by the floor (or your bed if your legs are up the headboard) and it reinforces proper spinal posture.
This is how you tell your spine that this is "home base"
Do some deep breathing, maybe some ab crunches, or some leg bends and let your body settle into this posture for at least 5 minutes.
Let me know if you have any questions!
