I've wanted to start a proper series for a long time, and - as a long time fan of a bunch of indie games - creating this kind of album has always been on my list of things I'd love to work on. Volume 1 is a little taster for a possibly much larger Volume 2! This particular track is based on my favourite track from Ben Prunty's incredible score for FTL. As well as trying to step up my normal production for every track on this album, I also tried to explore some new and more interesting instrumentation that I hadn't used before, and I think this track particularly turned out really well!
