Heathers (1989) | A genius dark-comedy
Heathers was directed by Michael Lehmann, written by Daniel Waters and released in 1988 and '89; it stars Winona Ryder and Christian Slater and is one of my favourite films. The writing is genius and thought-provoking, and the characters are incredibly interesting, which can also be because of the two leading actors' fantastic performances, in particular Christian Slater as J.D. He truly embodies the sick and twisted aspects of the character and is extremely entertaining to watch!
