MakeBox Embroidery Guide: How to Satin Stitch
Satin Stitch
This is the filling stitch that we use throughout this embroidery. The stitch will increase or decrease within the area of your embroidery that needs filling. Simply tie a double knot in the thread and create a series of straight stitches, running vertically or horizontally, following the size and shape of the area you are filling.
You can create different textures in your work by changing the direction of your stitches.
