Perfect for the 2017 shield tv.
Perfect for my 2017 shield, it is smaller than I thought would be, but works flawlessly with the older model, I despised the old remote and had to use a fire tv remote for a while, but this is perfect and the backlit keys when picked up is a great add on, the only cons it has is that I opened Netflix accidentally a lot of times at first until I got used to it and the lack of mute button (you can press both volume keys to do it or set one of the menu options for it) I'm still giving it 5 stars because is really that good.
