Hi, my name is Nicole Trenholm. I'm with the Ocean Research Project, nonprofit organization. I'm an oceanographer and I head up to the top of the planet and I collect a whole lot of different data in glacial fjords in areas where glaciers are retreating, there's icebergs, remote locations on a sailboat. And I use this boat lab here and I have all kinds of technology helping me collect this data. But sometimes things get a little bumpy and I've got a talented crew of, of helpful folks and we work hard in these environments, but it's hard to keep things under control sometimes. And so there was a situation where we're near the glacier. We're bringing in some instruments to pull some data off and behold, there was a calving event. We heard a roar, an iceberg popped off in front of the glacier and you had a nice wave come by and shake the boat for a second. It was not that big a deal. I ran up to the deck like, oh, how's it going? How's, how's the, the wave and all that? And, you know, it was, I thought it was pretty minor. Captain is like: "Oh, do you need to check the lab? Make sure everything's secure". And I'm like, oh, yeah. No, everything's fine down there. Well, unfortunately everything was not fine. I had left my hard drive on a shelf, and it fell into a bucket of salt water and that was a tragedy, because we worked so hard to collect this data. I knew there was some gems on there that I had not backed up yet. And, oh, so we found you guys, Secure Data Recovery and worked with Daniel Novak. And, it was, and, we're just so appreciative for the, the help that you guys could provide in doing your best job of being able to recover this critical environmental information that we went to the ends of the earth to collect and bring back home.
