Trinidad "Butch T" Scorpion chili pepper tasting
At a stratospheric 1.4 million Scovilles, the Trinidad "Butch T" Scorpion carries an intense fruity aroma unlike anything I've smelled in a pod before. Powerful notes of tropical fruit and rich flowers flood the senses, leaving no hint as to the true fire within.
The flavor did disappoint slightly, possibly due to the unhinged speed of this pod's ignition. I liken many pods to roller coasters, but this one was probably more similar to a car accident. It all... happened so fast...
