Architects and RIBA Studio tutors, Eliana Voutsadaki and Sarah Stevens presented their RIBA Studio Tutor Symposium on Concept and Idea: Developing A Critical Position, they unpicked the sometimes slippery nature of the concept, exploring the inception of design from a personal critical positioning of the work to the architectural language that flows from this.
Examples of students work were discussed to illustrate underlying design process strategies and outcomes at all scales across design and technology.
The online talk is aimed at anyone with an interest in tutoring pedagogy such as students, academics and architects.
