Documentary about Ferruccio Guicciardi, the first aviator of southwestern Colombia (1895-1947)
A documentary coordinated by the Municipality of Maranello, written and directed by Alessandro Trebbi with the participation of Colombian historian Ricardo Realpe. It tells the story of aviator Ferruccio Guicciardi, born in Modena, Italy in 1895 and who died in Cali, Colombia in 1947; considered a hero in Colombia for having completed the first international mail flight from Ecuador.
The documentary traces his journey between Modena, Ecuador, and Colombia through testimonies and video interviews, photographic documents, and footage of the places where he is remembered or buried.
