History of the La Sardinera ravine
Old Cali tells the story of a stream that once flowed through what is now the San Cayetano neighborhood, reaching what is now 5th Street and then continuing towards the area of the Antonio José Camachó Institute. Several bodies of water flowed down the mountain, but with the growth of urbanization, they were either channeled or dried up completely.
