The Bridge: A new one-act opera about the experience of living with dementia
Filmed live at the Ucheldre Centre, Holyhead, on 31st March 2023, this is 'The Bridge' a new one-act opera from librettist/director Marian Bryfdir and composer Edward Wright. It explores the experience of living with dementia from first noticing symptoms to managing increased difficulties while maintaining relationships and one's core identity.
Funded by the Arts Council of Wales, the opera was part of a larger project called 'Living with dementia: An operatic exploration to promote understanding and reduce stigma'. You can read more about the project here https://www.idealproject.org.uk/proje....
