Synthesized Singing Demo: BWV 478
Not perfect by any stretch of the imagination, but here is my first real attempt and synthesising a singing voice.
It is extremely difficult to synthesise singing from first principles. This is what I am attempting to do, but without using samples or re-synthesis based on samples of real singles, it is very tricky indeed to mimic the way a good singer matches the formants to the notes.
What I have here sounds somewhat like a singer, but has a rattly, mute sound as well. I will keep going with the experiment and see how far I can get.
