*Some musicologists have questioned the authorship of this work – along with many other concertos thought to have been written by Mozart, the parts were first found in the 19th century which are believed to have been composed while he was in Paris. Throughout the 20th century, many analysts have held opposing views, some thinking the work genuine and others not; as such, its catalogue number is typically K. 297b/Anh.C 14.01 today.
